The Steering Committee's role is to raise awareness of the threat to our ability to use radio microphones in NZ and to lobby the Government representatives to consider the cultural and economic implications of the threat.

Following the meeting of May 2008, a number of individuals volunteered to form a steering committee with the aim of raising awareness within the radio mic users community.
